Raphael Textura - brush series 8702 - synthetic - filbert - short handle

The Textura range of brushes is especially aimed at artists who paint using impasto techniques and want to create relief effects using thick acrylics and structure gels.
The brushes are made using very strong, short, rigid, synthetic fibres and offer an excellent response to thick colours and mediums.
These are elegantly designed brushes offering good value for money, making them a joy to use for professionals and amateurs alike.
Because acrylic colours dry quickly and cannot be removed once they have dried, you need to take care to clean the brushes with soap and water immediately after each session and even sometimes whilst you are working. You then need to restore the bristles to their original shapes and leave the brush hanging head downwards to dry.
The filbert shape is used for brushwork, modelling, colour layering and glazes.
