Lefranc Bourgeois Charbonnel - pulverised resin for aquatint - 500g bag

Pulverised Resin is made from powdered colophonium resin and is for aquatint metal plate printing. The resin is extra fine, pure and light.
When aquatint printing, resin is applied to the plate ahead of heating in an aquatint box.
Depending on the type of aquatint box you are using, you will need to use between two and five kg of pulverised resin.
Colophonium melts under temperatures between 90 and 110°C. It is soluble in alcohol.
