Pulverised Bitumen is used for graining zinc and copper plates and preparing etching grounds. It is used in aquatint printing.
This Graphic Asphalt is finely ground and soluble in turpentine and white spirit.
To improve the pulverised bitumen’s acid resistance, mix it with varnish.
