EXTRA-FINE ACRYLIC
This
product
line
is
known
for
its
exceptionally
smooth,
thick
buttery
consistency.
It
contains
the
largest
assortment
of
unique
pure
pigments
in
a
100%
acrylic
emulsion
vehicle
available
to
the
professional
artist.
These
colors
offer
excellent
permanency
and
lightfastness.
There
are
no
fillers,
extenders,
opacifyers,
toners
or
dyes
added.
The
neutral
grays
(N2
to
N8)
are
a
series
of
achromatic
grays
that
follow
the
Munsell
value
scale.
They
allow
an
artist
to
adjust
the
value
and
chroma
of
a
color
without
altering
the
hue.
Bone
black
is
recommended
for
the
neutral
black
(N1)
and
Titanium
white
for
the
neutral white (N10).

for
staining,
spraying

watercolor
effects

the
richness

Body
Acrylics.
The
consistency
of
Fluid
Acrylics
allows
for
an
extremely
smooth
brush
stroke.
Fluids
Acrylics
have
the
same
pigment
load
as
the
Heavy
Body
Acrylics,
but
their
thin
viscosity
prevents
thick
application
for
an
opaque
coverage.
Coverage
also
depends
on
the
pigment
properties.
Organic
pigments
such
as
the
Quinacridones
are
intense
but
very
transparent
and
useful
for
glazing.
Inorganic
pigments

as
Titanium

Fluorescent
Acrylics
Colors
are
intense,
brilliant
colors,
produced
from
dyes
surrounded
by
a
polymer
coating.
Because
fluorescent
colors
are
so
transparent,
greater
intensity
can
be
achieved
by
working
over
a
bright
white
surface.
Fluorescent
Colors
are
not
lightfast.
If
a
greater
permanency
is
desired,
a
topcoat
of
GOLDEN
MSA
Varnish
with UVLS is recommended, although it will eliminate the fluorescent "glow" under black light.
GOLDEN
Phosphorescent
Green
is
a
water-based
acrylic
medium
that
can
be
applied
to
various
surfaces.
The
unique
pigment
used
in
its
formulation
is
characterized
by
its
ability
to
absorb
and
store
natural
and
artificial
light.
When
the
light
source
is
removed,
a
bright,
greenish
glow
is
emitted
for
up
to
15
minutes.
The
glow
steadily
diminishes
as the stored light energy is released.

GOLDEN Iridescent Acrylics
are one of the most
unique products available to artists today. They offer highly
reflective metallic variations when mixed with GOLDEN colors. The
GOLDEN Iridescent colors achieve their reflective properties by synthetically
reproducing several natural phenomena - the nacreous, or pearlescent, qualities
found in fish scales or the dust of a butterfly's wing, and the shiny and reflective
qualities found in certain metals and minerals.
